St Joseph's church did a major restoration. They needed a sound system that wouldn't detract from the beauty of the church. We designed a distributed speaker system that allowed speaker mounting high on the two rows of columns. The speakers were painted to blend into the decor. A second system was installed to act as a monitor for the choir.	Automated mixer operation was needed as a sound system operator was not always available. In a system that had many delays and sends with different levels and EQs a "smart" sound system was needed.	We used a Crown IQ system as a central controllable "brain" to perform many of the tasks required by the users. Distributed intelligence in the for of plug in PIP cards was used for speaker processing
