What Reduces Noise?

• Better cables (better shielding)
• Balanced lines (XLR not 1/4”)
• Direct Boxes (to creat balanced lines)
• Shorter cables (less chance to pick up noise)
• Cable routing (away from power lines, etc.)
• One AC source
• Turn dimmers Off or full On

 
Note: most noise enters systems thru input cables.
Some noise comes from AC interference.
